CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 10 ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO UNLESS THERE IS ANOTHER ADULT TTHERE TO SUPERVISE THEM. Much like in a hair salon or spa, the presence of children can be very distracting. We want you to be able to lay back and relax during your visit and not be bothered by having to simultaneously supervise your understandably bored and active child. We also want to be able to focus on doing the best job possible with your piercing and that is extremely challenging when a parent has to get up repeatedly to remind their child to behave. For this reason we do require the presence of a second person to supervise any children at all times during the visit. Our staff may have other customers to attend to and cannot be left responsible for your children. They also may not be left unattended.

All sales are final once body jewelry has been put into the body. This is standard practice at ALL professional piercing businesses. The reason for this is that there is no way to FULLY ensure safe wearing on a piece that has been exposed to human body fluids (aka germiness). All of our jewelry does come with a limited lifetime warranty this covers, a pin breakage, if a gem falls out of it's setting, ect... It does not cover if it is lost or stolen.

At Red Nova Studio, we take the health and safety of our clients very seriously. We follow strict sterilization procedures to ensure that all equipment and jewelry used during piercings are sanitary and safe. Our sterilization process includes: 1. Autoclave: All needles, jewelry, and instruments are sterilized using an autoclave, which is a medical-grade sterilization machine that uses high-pressure steam to kill all bacteria, viruses, and fungi. 2. Disposable Gloves: Our piercers wear disposable gloves during the entire piercing process to prevent any cross-contamination. 3. Single-Use Needles: We use single-use needles for every piercing, and dispose of them immediately afterwards. 4. Disinfectant: We clean and disinfect all surfaces and equipment before and after each piercing using a hospital-grade disinfectant. 5. Jewelry Sanitization: All jewelry is cleaned and sterilized before use in a piercing. Our sterilization process meets or exceeds all industry standards and regulations to ensure that our clients receive the best and safest piercing experience possible.

If you've bought body jewelry in person then you're probably well aware that it can't be returned once it has been worn or left a studio. This is standard practice at ALL professional piercing businesses. The reason for this is that there is no way to FULLY ensure safe wearing on a piece that has been exposed to human germiness. For this reason we ship all jewelry in a sealed, tamperproof pouch. This allows you to see the piece in person and check sizing before it ever comes into contact with your skin. We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery provided that the jewelry has not been worn or removed from it's pouch. Make sure to check and measure your jewelry before you remove it from this pouch. We cannot accept returns/exchanges on body jewelry once it has been removed from this pouch because there is no way to verify the piece was not been worn. If you would like to return something and it fits this criteria, just reach out and let us know what you would like to do. Unopened jewelry can be exchanged or a refund can be issued once the return is received. Return shipping will be up to the buyer. Original shipping charges will not be refunded in the case of a return.
